Remember you can use any materials you have around the house. We used a combination of felt, paper and a foam sheet.
Step-by-Step:
- 1.Cut out your materials in the corresponding coloured paper using our template.
- 2.Wrap the mid-blue foam around the taller toilet paper roll and secure it with glue or tape.
- For Bingo, use the tan fabric.
- 3.Wrap the dark blue fabric (eye patch) around the top of the roll and attach it to the foam.
- For Bingo, use the orange piece of paper.
- 4.Stick the light blue fabric (tummy) onto the front of the mid-blue foam.
- Use the cream-coloured felt for Bingo!
- 5.Glue or tape the legs to the bottom of the roll, underneath the body.
- Do the same for Bingo!
- 6.Add pupils to the eyes using card or marker. Then attach the eyes, snout, and Bluey’s nose to the face.
- Do the same for Bingo!
- 7.Insert ears into the top of the roll. Add inner ear colour and don't forget her eyebrows!
- And Bingo’s too!
- 8.Stick the dark blue spots to the sides of the roll.
- Add Bingo’s orange spots.
- 9.Glue the tail to the back of the toilet paper roll.
- Don’t forget Bingo’s tail!
- 10.Glue Bluey’s hands to a pipe cleaner. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the back of the roll and secure with tape.
- Do the same for Bingo!
Bonus! You might even like to make some dress-ups for your Bluey and Bingo with some leftover felt, paper or card. We made our very own Janet and Rita.
Once you've made your Dunny Rolls, why not make a cardboard car or a shoebox bedroom?
