In short:

A new $220 million plan to address domestic violence against First Nations women and children has been co-designed with Indigenous people and federal and state governments.

It will help Indigenous organisations provide services including crisis response teams, emergency accommodation and support for women to leave violence safely.

What's next?

A monitoring and evaluation framework will be developed, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives from each state and territory.
