In short:

NSW Health hired a law firm to investigate bullying complaints against three doctors who raised concerns about the Structural Heart Program at Sydney's Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

The NSW Ombudsman found the failure to notify the doctors of specific allegations against them in a timely fashion was "unreasonable" and caused "undue stress".

NSW Health has apologised to the doctors and dropped the investigation without any findings against them.
