Flower shop destroyed as police investigate three suspicious fires across Yeppoon CBD

A number of suspicious early morning fires in central Queensland are being investigated by police.
Emergency services have responded to calls about three blazes today in the coastal town of Yeppoon, 40 kilometres north-east of Rockhampton.
The first fire was reported at 3:15am at a popular florist business on Normanby Street.

The property was completely destroyed.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said two neighbouring residences were also evacuated.
At 3:45am, a second fire was reported inside a property on Cliff Street.
At about 4:30am, another fire was reported in a rubbish bin at the library and community centre on John Street.
Livingstone Shire Council has advised the facilities have been closed to allow police and forensic teams to complete investigations.
It says there has been external damage to the building including to the air conditioning units.
The library building is structurally sound.

All fires were put out by fire crews.
Police declared crime scenes at all three locations.
A 33-year-old woman, with no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of arson, seven counts of wilful damage, and one count each of break and enter, attempted stealing and endangering property by fire.
She was remanded in custody to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on March 9.
