Women's Asian Cup 2026: What time do the Matildas play? How to watch and follow Australia vs South Korea

The Matildas are guaranteed a place in the Women's Asian Cup quarterfinals, but they must beat South Korea in Sydney tonight to top the group.
The South Koreans have a better goal difference, and only need a draw to secure top spot.
The group A winner will remain in Sydney all the way until the final, should they make it that far, while the runner-up will have to travel to Perth for the quarters and semis.

What time do the Matildas play South Korea?
The Matildas' final group game is on Sunday, March 8 at Sydney's Stadium Australia, 8pm AEDT, which is:
- 8pm in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Tasmania
- 7:30pm in South Australia
- 7pm in Queensland
- 6:30pm in the Northern Territory
- 5pm in Western Australia

What has happened so far?
The Matildas kicked the tournament off with a 1-0 win over the Philippines in Perth.
They then had a much-improved attacking output to defeat Iran 4-0 on the Gold Coast.
But both those teams are ranked much lower than Australia, and South Korea is expected to be the Matildas' toughest test yet.
Australia is the world number 15, while their opponents are number 21.
They too had wins over Iran and the Philippines, and unforgettably, knocked the Matildas out of the 2022 Asian Cup in the quarterfinals.
Who is in the Matildas squad?
Coach Joe Montemurro stuck to his promise to rotate the squad in this tournament, with several changes made for the second game.
Mary Fowler started her first game for the side in almost a year, after coming back from an ACL injury.
It's likely she'll get another shot up front, while winger Hayley Raso has been ruled out of this match under concussion protocols.
First-choice goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold and midfielder Kyra Cooney-Cross haven't played at all yet, but coach Joe Montemurro says they're both fit.
