Novak Djokovic loses to Jack Draper in three sets at Indian Wells tournament

World number three Novak Djokovic has lost to defending champion Jack Draper in a pulsating fourth-round match at the prestigious Indian Wells tournament.
Djokovic, a five-time champion at the ATP Masters 1000 event, fought back in the third set by breaking Draper when the 14th-seeded Briton served for the match at 5-4.
Draper, who is on the comeback trail after an arm injury, rallied to force a tiebreaker and eventually win 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7/5) after two hours and 35 minutes on court.
"I still don't feel like I'm playing anywhere near the way I want to play," Draper said.
"I came out here and I won that match through determination."
Draper will next play Russian 11th seed Daniil Medvedev, who beat Alex Michelsen 6-2, 6-4 in a commanding performance.
World number one Carlos Alcaraz continued his dominant run, defeating Norway's Casper Ruud 6-1, 7-6 (7/2).
Alcaraz, who beat Djokovic in the Australian Open final last month, relied on a near-flawless service game to seize control of the match against Ruud.
"My first set was incredible," Alcaraz said.
"I'm really happy … playing that kind of level, really happy to get through and hopefully I'll play this level on the next round."
Alcaraz faces Great Britain's Cameron Norrie in the quarterfinals.
Norrie beat Australia's Rinky Hijikata 6-4, 6-2 in the fourth round.
Świątek goes through
In the women's draw, which is a WTA 1000 event, world number two Iga Świątek delivered a dominant 6-2, 6-0 victory over Czech 13th seed Karolína Muchová.
"I felt I was playing better and better, just great," Świątek said.
"I love playing here. It's a great place to play tennis, hopefully I can keep doing that until the end."

Świątek, chasing a third Indian Wells title, will face ninth seed Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals after the Ukrainian advanced when Kateřina Siniaková retired injured.
Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina advanced to the quarterfinals after Sonay Kartal retired while trailing 6-4, 4-3.
Third seed Rybakina will next play Jessica Pegula in a rematch of their Australian Open semifinal.
Pegula, the tournament fifth seed, overcame Belinda Bencic 6-3, 7-6 (7/5) to secure her first victory in five meetings between the pair.
