The king and queen of Denmark are in Melbourne for two days of royal engagements as part of their Australian state visit.

It is the couple's first official visit to Australia since King Frederik ascended to the Danish throne in January 2024.

The royals arrived in Central Australia on Saturday before travelling to Canberra and Melbourne.
