Ipswich woman charged with murder of Katherine Sanowski

A woman has been charged with murdering Springfield woman Katherine Sanowski in suburban Ipswich last month.
Police were called to a Beryl Court address in Bellbird Park about 11:30am on February 19 following reports of a street disturbance.
Police say the body of Ms Sanowski, 42, was found inside the property, and according to court documents, they believe she had been dead since February 5.
A 34-year-old Bellbird Park woman was found at the scene by police and taken to hospital to undergo medical assessment.
On Tuesday morning, detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Squad charged the woman, Logan Valentine Edwards, with one count of murder (domestic violence).
The case was briefly mentioned in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon where it was adjourned for two weeks and the accused remanded in custody.
