Police release new footage in appeal over grandfather Chris Baghsarian's murder

Police have released new CCTV vision in relation to the bungled kidnapping, and murder, of Sydney grandfather Chris Baghsarian.
Mr Baghsarian, 85, was snatched from his North Ryde home on February 13 in what is believed to be a case of mistaken identity.
His captors are alleged to have instead meant to have taken a relative of Sydney businessman Dimitri Stepanyan, who also lived nearby.
Video showing the elderly widower being tortured in a safehouse at Dural, along with a demand for $50 million, later emerged.

Mr Baghsarian's remains were found on a golf course at Pitt Town 11 days later.
Only two men have so far been charged with murder over his death.
NSW Police on Wednesday released new security camera footage showing three people walking along a street in Dural near the safehouse.
The men were seen in the area on Wildthorn Avenue, Dural the night of February 13, hours after Mr Baghsarian was kidnapped.
It comes after video obtained by the ABC from when Mr Baghsarian was taken from his home also showed three men entering the property.

Speaking to 702 ABC Radio Sydney, NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon described the crime as "a heinous offence".
"There are two males before the court at the moment charged with murder and detain for advantage," Commissioner Lanyon said.
"There are further males that we believe can assist with our inquiries and a motor vehicle that we also believe may be relevant to our inquiries as well."
As part of the new footage, police also released images of a blue car they believe was involved in the kidnapping.
The car was seen about 12pm on February 14 in Dural, the day after Mr Baghsarian was taken from his home.

"We believe these males may be involved. It's important we identify who they are and either rule them in or eliminate them from our inquiries," Commissioner Lanyon said.
"The CCTV also indicates a blue coloured Hyundai sedan, which is missing a hub cap on the left-hand side.
"That vehicle was seen to go out to a house that we believe Mr Baghsarian was held captive during his ordeal."
